Since you are not going to speak Hungarian for a while, and many people do not speak English here, the need might rise to get help from someone who knows both languages. As an old habit at the medical university, many apartment rent offers reach the English and German programmes. Since we were born and raised here in Pécs (not counting the years we have spent abroad), we know our city and this region very well. There are many places in, and around our town you might never experience unless someone who knows the place well tells you about it, or shows it to you. There are some lakes around Pécs, some for fishing, some for swimming. There are beautiful places on our mountain the 'Mecsek' as well, restaurants, parks, paths, lookout towers and so on. There is also the very famous wine area of 'Villány' next to Pécs, which is a must see and experience place. We can organise trips with wine tasting and dinner for you in this region or anywhere in and around Pécs for all kinds of special events.
